According to the Forbes website, the list is made up of 100 startups that work to solve real-life problems with new ideas and innovative products. Singapore has the highest number of startups in the list with 19 and Hong Kong with 16. The top 100 were selected based on judges' opinions from 650 smartphones.

Sikho was launched in 2019 by Shahir Chowdhury and Zeeshan Zakaria to make National Curriculum education online easy and affordable. Shahir Chowdhury is serving as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Sikho. Zeeshan Zakaria is the Chief Operating Officer (COO).
Shahir Chowdhury told Prothom Alo, 'We are working to teach complex subjects online in simple language. We are happy to receive this international recognition. This recognition will give us more motivation to work. We currently have around eight lakh registered users. Students from sixth to graduation have the opportunity to study online at Sikho. There are also various courses including freelancing, entrance exam coaching. Our service is used from 64 districts of Bangladesh.
