Previously there was no way to know when call recording started on the other end on the call phone using third party apps. But call recording via Google Dialer has added new security features. Now Google Dialer alerts the caller when the call recording starts. However, call recording is still possible on older Android phones without Google Dialer. In addition to third-party apps, many phones have call recording features in their built-in dialers. It is still not possible to know from the other end of the phone when call recording is started from those phones. Call recording is outlawed in many countries. This is the reason why all the phone manufacturers have started using Google Dialer by removing the call recording feature from their dialers.
